National Citizens’ Party (NCP) Convenor Nahid Islam on Friday said this is not Sheikh Hasina’s Bangladesh. This is the country of students and the people.
He made the remark while addressing a rally at the Old Bus Stand intersection in Thakurgaon during the inauguration of NCP’s ‘July March’ campaign.
He strongly condemned the indiscriminate killing of Bangladeshis at the Thakurgaon border and alleged that illegal push-ins from across the border are being carried out repeatedly.
“We will stop border killings at any cost,” Nahid Islam said.
Nahid Islam also declared that NCP demands a fair and neutral election through a declaration in July, structural reforms, proper justice, and the formulation of a new constitution.
