A new panel, the 'Independent Students' Union,' has officially entered the Chittagong University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) election, with its formation announced by former leaders of the Bangladesh Democratic Students' Council (BDSC).
The panel revealed its full slate of candidates on Thursday, September 18, at 4:30 PM in front of the CUCSU building.
Mahfuzur Rahman has been nominated for the key position of Vice President (VP), while R. M. Rashidul Haque Dinar will run for the General Secretary (GS) post. Jannatul Ferdous has been put forward as the candidate for Assistant General Secretary (AGS).
The 'Independent Students' Union' is set to challenge the other major student groups by fielding candidates for all 26 positions in this year's CUCSU election.
