
The 'Students' Alliance for Harmony,' a panel backed by the Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, has officially unveiled its complete slate of candidates for the forthcoming Chittagong University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) election.
The announcement was made at a press conference at the university's Jarul Tala on Wednesday, September 18, by Islami Chhatra Shibir's Central HRM Secretary, Saidul Islam. The university's branch president, Mohammad Ali, was also present at the event.
For the pivotal role of vice president (VP), the panel has nominated Mohammad Ibrahim Hossain Rony, who serves as the president of Islami Chhatra Shibir's Chittagong South Metropolitan unit. The general secretary (GS) candidate is Said Bin Habib, a student from the 2019-20 batch of the History department, and Sajjad Hossain Munna, from the Banking and Insurance department, will contest for the assistant general secretary (AGS) post.
Demonstrating a comprehensive strategy, the 'Students' Alliance for Harmony' has fielded candidates for all 26 positions available in the CUCSU election.
